Olivia Tran, MSc, is a senior consultant at wca and has a background in chemistry and regulation. She is involved in systematic literature searches, data review and reliability assessment, data gap analysis, hazard and risk assessment, substance identification, read-across approaches, classification and PBT/vPvB assessment. Her area of work covers REACH- and PPP-related projects, environmental quality standard (EQS) derivation under various international and regional frameworks, endocrine disruptors, Ecolabel certifications, and sustainability and regulatory foresight.
Olivia holds a BSc in Chemistry (University of British Columbia) and an MSc in Pollution and Environmental Control (University of Manchester). Prior to wca, Olivia gained experience in chemicals policy at Environment Canada and in analytical chemistry at SGS Environment and Lignol Innovations (biofuels R&D).
