Lucy Kennelly MSci joined wca in 2021 and works on a wide variety of projects involving environmental toxicology and chemical regulations. She has a broad background in chemistry and life sciences, holding an integrated Masters degree in Natural Sciences (Biology with Chemistry) from the University of Bath. Lucy works regularly on REACH-related projects including data review, robust study summary preparation, PNEC derivation, read-across approaches, and the use of modelling tools to predict chemical properties. She has experience in study monitoring of large testing programmes for REACH purposes. Lucy regularly performs literature searching and data relevance and reliability assessments, and conducts foresight searches in areas including PFAS, sustainability priorities, and global chemical regulations. She also has experience in the preparation of pharmaceutical environmental risk assessment reports and the derivation of environmental quality standards for pesticides, pharmaceuticals and other organic substances.
