Adam, Iain and Graham are authors on one of Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management’s (IEAM) top 3 Exceptional Papers of 2025. The article “Bioavailability and risk assessment of metals in freshwaters: is global regulatory implementation keeping pace with scientific developments?” has been recognised by the journal based on the paper’s ability to cross boundaries, innovation, quality of the science, relevance to decisions, policy and/or management, presentation, and potential impact.

IEAM will be publishing a list of the top 3 Exceptional Papers, as well as a piece on the Best Paper winner, in the July 2026 issue.
