The aims of this short course are to provide you with an outline of good practice in regard to environmental chemical risk assessment. We will provide reinforcement of existing knowledge and the development of understanding of chemical behaviour, fate and hazard within a regulatory context. Context will be provided through the use of real examples across regulatory drivers along with good and bad practice and common ‘pitfalls’ in characterising chemical environmental risks.
